I can tell this blogging thing is going to be addictive.
So what is on my my mind today (that nobody cares about)? I'm a housewife, so of course it has something to do with ABC's "The View".
I used to watch "The View" to get my daily fix of frustration from the ultra liberal co hosts Joy Behar and, of course, Rosie. However, I think my new favorite person to hate is Sherri Shepherd. Sure she was amusing at first, with her insanely dim witted remarks like "the earth is flat", but lately she is just a source of irritation.
It's hard to place Sherri on the political spectrum. She is a born again Christian (despite her numerous abortions), and anti-gay (I wonder who styles her oh so fabulous wigs), yet she has her tongue thoroughly shoved up Obama's rear. While ultra liberals (and conservatives alike) never fail to chap my hide, I think my irritation runs deeper with this one. (channeling my inner Yoda).
I think maybe its her inflated ego. The ex temp, failed comedian, now co host of "The View" (how in the hell did that happen?) now thinks she is an icon. Comments such as, "enjoy those 15 minutes of fame", show her true narcissistic side, thus crushing her humble persona she tries to portray. Move over Naomi Campbell, there is a new self righteous bitch in town.
Joy Behar, the
Great White Defender of Blacks Everywhere is still my favorite to hate, but Sherri is closing in at second.
